Susan “Sue” Jane Boborosky, our caring and kindhearted friend, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on May 10th, 2024, at the age of 68.

Sue was born in Edmonton on August 21, 1955, to Paul and Bernice Boborosky, as the younger sister to Pauletta. The family moved to the Lac La Nonne area in the County of Barrhead and Susan finished her high schooling at Barrhead Composite High School. The family moved to Fort Assiniboine and Sue then began working in Barrhead, caring for seniors and people with disabilities. Soon after, Sue began her life adventures in Alberta and moved to Ontario. Several years later she returned to Fort Assiniboine, and later Barrhead.

Sue enjoyed volunteering at many community events in her later years, including at the New To You Thrift Store, the FCSS Senior’s Afternoon Tea, the Blue Suede Festival, the Barrhead Alliance Church, and more. Sue was always willing to help in any way. Sue was a caring friend and was always thinking of others. Amongst Sue’s favorite things were Pugs, reading, Elvis, and spending time helping others and visiting with her friends.

Sue will be missed by her many friends, acquaintances, and her family, her sister Pauletta, her nieces and nephew and her great-nieces and nephew.

A Celebration of Life is being held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024, at the Barrhead Alliance Church, 5309 43 St, Barrhead.
