It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Denise Purchase-Burry, aged 55, on November 20th, 2022.
Left to mourn is loving husband, Anthony; son, Shane; daughter in-law, Mandy; and grandchildren, Aiden and Addison. Also left to mourn are parents, Alex and Eileen Purchase; siblings, Loretta, Lisa, and Bradley; mother in-law, Bridget Burry; and special friend, Dallas.
Sandra is predeceased by baby, Russell; grandparents, Alphonso and Clara Purchase, Herman (Joe) and Bessie Barnes; father in-law, Francis Burry; sister in-law, Lisa Burry; and pet, Tiberius.
In life, Sandra had the strongest spirit. She would smile and nurture hope; especially during the most difficult of times and never accepted defeat. Sandra had fierce love for her family and unconditional love for “Nanny’s Treasures” who she adored.
Her family would like to express appreciation for the care she received at Northern Lights Regional Health Centre, in particular, the Dialysis Unit where she spent many days with friends.
In lieu of flowers tribute donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
As per Sandra’s wishes, cremation has taken place and burial shall be in Horwood, Newfoundland. Funeral arrangements will be announced.

Sandra love her family and her grandbabies were her pride and joy.
The longer we live,
The more we learn-yet all our experience doesn’t really seem to help when it comes to the loss of someone we care about…
At this difficult time may you turn to memories of all you shared to carry you during your darkest hours.
