In loving memory of Robert ‘Bob’ Ashley Brown, who passed away surrounded by his
loved ones on July 16, 2024, at the University of Alberta Hospital. Beloved partner to
Carmel Farrelly; father of Josh (Jamie) and Casey Lambert-Brown. He was the son of
the late Erin Joseph and Mary (Oliver) Brown. Brother to eight siblings, late William
(Jeanette), Sheila Chipman (Jerry), late Carol Styger (Gale), Erin (Maxine), Stephen
(Martha), Susan, Gregory (Maryann), and Sarah MacLean (David).
Bob was born on April 4, 1952 in Moncton, Westmorland County, New
Brunswick. He grew up in New Brunswick, as the youngest son of the family. Bob began a
career in forestry and eventually moved to Alberta, started a family, and worked as a
process operator in the oil and gas industry. He had a passion for fishing and hunting,
and in his retirement years lived with Carmel in Smoky Lake.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Blood Services in memory of
Robert Brown. May we find solace during this time of grieving for the passing of our
father.
