Condolence Messages
Terry and Lily Olandersays
It is with heartfelt sorrow that we have lost Dick. He was not only a family member and a true friend, but one with true integrity….if he was your friend he was your friend for life. He always was willing to lend a helping hand and did not expect payback in return. Dick was so proud to become a Grandfather and enjoyed every second he spent with Jace. We had the opportunity to spend a little time when he was in hospital before his death…just because Terry was in hospital at the same time. Due to Covid restrictions visitation was strictly controlled but we were able to get Dick and Terry together for a short time. Shirley was committed to ensuring Dick was home with her so she could be with him and ensure he knew he was loved. Once Dick was home we were able to spend time with him during the last hours. Terry held Dicks hand. He was heartbroken over his illness. Among the last words we heard was Dick telling Holly, his daughter how much he loved her. Rest In Peace Dick. We will meet up with you again for sure and then we will catch up on discussions we have missed…….and we will always remember your signature phrase….oooga booga Terry and Lily

There are really no words that will suffice. Dick was a good husband, father and grandfather and a good friend. He will not be forgotten by us.
