It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Terrault at the age of 60 years, on April 18, 2022 in Sturgeon County, AB.
Paul was born to Jean and David Terrault in Edmonton, AB. He grew up in St. Albert and Sturgeon County alongside his brothers and sisters, Norah (Rom), Jocelyn(Paul), Phil(Sandra), Helen(predeceased), Peter(Carol), Perry(Natalie), Mary(Ryan), and Donna.
Arthur Yeske was Paul’s best friend growing up and eventually Paul managed to land Angel, Art’s sister. They were married in July 1994 and had 2 daughters, Karlee (Stephen) and Karinne (Kaleb).
Paul started welding straight out of high school and then became the plant manager for Camsteel Fabricators, where he worked for the rest of his career.
Between working and the acreage, Paul always had a project on the go, but he would never turn anyone down asking for help. He loved his family and friends with all his heart even though he was a man of few words.
Paul’s dry humour and deep, booming voice will be missed by all.
A Celebration of Life for Paul will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 30th at St. Albert Catholic Parish.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Paul’s passing. Our families were neighbors when Dave and Jean owned and operated their turkey and chicken farm. We would often help them on the farm when the time came to load the birds for market. Classmates from Sturgeon heights and and high school, (of which I was one), called him “Turkey” So named by classmate Mark Cassidy. The family had a ski-doo, which we envied greatly, but they would often come to our house and give us rides.
Paul was shy as a teen, but had many friends that thought the world of him. He had a kind and thoughtful heart. I was Blessed to have known him throughout our teen years.
I offer my sincere prayers for you, the family, and Arthur, and other close friends, that you will find peace in the days ahead as you mourn his absence in your lives. I remember Paul as a man of God. You shall meet again.
2 Thes. 4:13-17 Hold on to this hope.

The news of Paul’s passing brings deep feeling of sadness to his family, siblings(families), relatives and many friends. Growing up from 10 to 29 yrs of age with Paul and the family left so many last memories. My job took me to the states where I still live and have now for 29yrs. Tks Paul for hockey, canoeing, slo-pitch, poker and so much more.
Blessings to all that will miss him.
Love to all from Oregon. Greg

A year has flown by since the news of Pauls’ sudden passing.
Life went on for most of us, but for you, the family, time stands still and it is still difficult to accept the reality. The ‘firsts’ without him have passed and we carry him in our hearts. This was not the end for Paul, but a beautiful new beginning as he rests in heavenly arms for all eternity. He’s taking care of Helen and is reunited with his dad and grandparents.
Peace be with you until we all meet again.
