Connie was born in Daysland, Alberta on January 30, 1956 and raised on a family farm just a few minutes outside of Daysland with her parents and siblings. He was the only boy in the family with seven sisters. He attended grade one to grade three at Tawatinaw School which was two miles from their farm.
