With deep sadness and heartfelt affection, we announce the peaceful passing of Keiko Yao, who left us at the age of 90 on Sept. 16, 2024, in Edmonton, Alberta. Keiko is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Patricia, and granddaughter, Lindsey; her daughter, Brenda, son Roger (Christine), and grandsons, Everett and Owen; son Tany (Julie); her younger brother, Yasusuke Sugata; and older sister, Sachiko Tsutsumi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Perez, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. Edward’s life was wonderfully enriched by the love of his two children, Annette Kelly, and Denise Bradley; along with his four grandchildren: Kyle Kelly, Donovan Bradley, Daniel Bradley, and Hailey Kelly; as well as his two great-grandchildren, Myles Kelly, and Matteo Kelly. His eyes sparkled with happiness as he reveled in his passion for sports and the excitement of horse racing. These interests painted a vivid picture in his life, creating memories that will be forever treasured in our hearts. We love you endlessly, now and always.

Douglas Daniel UPTON “Dan” born Dec 20,1962, at the age of 61 passed away suddenly due to health complications on September 12, 2024. Leaving to grieve his passing are his children: Adam, Chelsea, Jonathan, and Daniel; stepchildren, Tasha Lynn, and AJ; grandchildren: Kayd, Aidan, and Kane; brother, Dave (Heather); nephew Caleb; sister, Pam; and nephew, Jacob.
