It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Sandra (Sandy) Kapalka of Edmonton, Alberta. My beloved mother passed away with family by her side on November 14, 2022 at the age of 65 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Travis Ensenat and his husband Santiago; father, Michael Kapalka Sr.; sister, Donna (Jim) Stewart; and her brother, Michael; as well as numerous family members and friends. With sadness, we announce that Ricky Willard Bland “Rick” was found deceased at his Edmonton residence on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the age of 60.  He was born on August 5, 1962 in Rimbey, Alberta. Rick was predeceased by his father, Kenneth and mother, Donna.  He is survived by his brother, Tim Bland and his partner, Haydi Ekeberg; his sister, Cindy Repkow (Bland); and brother, Darcy Bland. Also by his niece, Lindsey; nephew, Paul Repkow; his wife, Maria; and stepkids, Athena and Tanner.
