I have just found out about Nadia’s passing and I am so sorry to her family and friends. Dr. Du toit was my doctor during my pregnancy in the midst of COVID. I don’t think she knew this but she was the only person I looked forward to seeing during this time. She was so nice and took the time to talk with me like a person not just a patient. I will never forget the smile and big hellos I’d get from her. I’m so sorry for her children and husband. She was an amazing soul who made a dark time in my life seem so much brighter. I’m so happy I got to show her my son the last time I saw her.
Nadia, may you rest at peace knowing you changed many peoples life in this world. Xo

I just heard about Nadia’s passing, I am very sad, she was taken too young. My condolences to her friends and family. She was my Doctor while I was pregnant with my twins. She was an amazing person she was always so happy and chipper. Her presence in my life during my pregnancy was nothing but positive. RIP Nadia

Dr. du Toit was my preceptor for a day during my Obstetrics rotation during med school. I remember her specifically because she bought me a cookie when I was having a bad day. It seems like a small gesture, but it was huge to an overwhelmed and overworked med student.
I hadn’t thought about her much until yesterday the memory of her kindness suddenly came back to me for some reason. I wanted to see where she was working these days, and I was strangely devastated to learn that she had passed away so young. I didn’t know her well, but she made an impression on me, and I believe I would have worked with her only a couple months before her diagnosis.
I want her friends and family to know that this small kindness made a difference for me. It’s nice to know that these things live on after we go. I didn’t know her at all really, but in a funny way I’ll miss her all the same.

I just found out that Dr. du Toit passed away. She delivered my daughter in 2018. I still remember her words when I decided to go with C Section due to exhaustion but she convinced me not to. Glad I listened to her. She was a really nice OB. My deepest condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.

If this is the same Dr Du Toit I’m looking for, then this is really devastating news. I just googled to see where I could find her and reconnect since 2020 when I had my daughter… only for me to see this 😢.
I now wonder if I’ll be able to find another OBGYN as kind, as friendly and so down to earth as her.
May God Almighty give her family the strength to cope with this loss. Please accept my condolences 💐.

Oh my, my heart is in tiny pieces. Dr. DuToit was my Dr in the middle of COVID and like Monika said, she was such a comforting, compassionate and amazing human. I remember wanting to give her a big hug and bring her flowers cos she made such an impression on my soul and brought much needed light in what was a terrible medical experience and scary time. I am pregnant with my 2nd baby and was just googling to see where I can find Dr. Nadia and then I saw this 😭😭😭. Dr. Du Toit, your spirit lives on – you were an incredible human and professional. You left the world too early!! I pray that your family finds the strength and perspective to continue to uphold your beautiful legacy. Rest in Peace Dr— you are very missed❤️
Sending prayers and good thoughts to your family. Pls accept my condolences Nadia’s family.
