It is with profound sadness that the family of Michael Pawlowski announce he has blown this popsicle stand at the age of 65 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Gerry; daughters, Alicia (John), and Madeleine; his siblings, Adrian (Janet), Dennis (Loreen), Eileen (Carl), Maria (Julian), Laurie (John), Kathleen (Philip); and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Irene and Frank.
Michael was a wonderful dad, loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend to so many. After an exciting early career at Transport/Nav Canada that provided countless nail biting and hilarious cowboy stories, Michael changed gears working in IT as a network engineer at both Bell and Telus. Michael cherished the lifelong friendships he made with his colleagues who long suffered his comedic stylings.
There was nothing Michael couldn’t do, make or invent, his family will have to get used to paying professionals now. An exceptional athlete at all things but his biggest love: golf, a lover of the outdoors and adventure, we imagine he’s ‘Gone fishing’ permanently.
At Michael’s request no service will be held; ice cream party to celebrate the man “who never met an ice cream he didn’t like” to be held at a later date.
Michael’s girls love flowers, but donations to Brain Cancer Canada are recommended.

When I was younger it was expected that I see friends again. Now I don’t take it for granted and really place extra value on moments with family and friends. Michael was a very positive person who was always ready for a challenge. I had the privilege of working, golfing and laughing with him. I will never get used to his not being around. Last I spoke with him while I was shopping he left me with that positive attitude. I will have to learn to live with him not being here. Fortunately I have many good memories to keep with me.

There are few people in this world that have had such a natural ability to make us laugh, and enjoy the moment – Michael definitely tops the list of those people. There are so many stories of Michael’s sense of humor, that will stay with us throughout our lives; many of which we have, or will enjoy sharing with others who could use a smile. It’s through our smiles that we will always remember Michael. Our condolence goes out to the Family.

Very sad news, that has touched me and my family. Growing up, Michael was always willing to provide attention and fun to his younger first cousins. He will be fondly remembered…
Our condolences to Gerry and her children.

It is with a sad, heart that I have to say goodbye to a colleague, business partner and most of all dear friend. Michael was without a doubt the most unique person I have ever met. He was so intelligent and had a grasp on everything, I was in awe most of the time we were together.
There is so much I can say about how awesome Michael was to work with and how his customers respected and appreciated him but anyone who knows Michael knows how dedicated a person he was on getting the job done and done right.
What I want to say is “ I will miss you my friend, more than words can say”.
Thank you for all the good times we spent together; the many laughs over a beer or two; our bets on who could get the best drive on the golf course and you usually saying you think mine went further but finding it may be a problem; our trip to Sedona Arizona where we both agreed we had the best carrot cake in the world. I only knew you for a short time compared to many of your friends but I feel like I’ve known you all my life… thankyou for your friendship!!! I bid you farewell until we tee off again.
