Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Len passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 84 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Doreen; children: Lucian (Eileen) and Mequel (Aimee); grandchildren: Troy (Kerys) and Ben; brother, Norman; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Len was predeceased by his daughter Barbara Dean who passed away January 1999
Len was born October 27, 1938. He married his devoted wife, Doreen, November 2, 1957 and was a loving father to his three children; Barb, Lucian and Mequel. Early in life, Len learned the importance of hard work and strong family values. Len was a dedicated father who always put family first. He worked hard to provide a better life and love for his family than he experienced. He faced every challenge in life with undeniable strength and courage. He was always there for his family whether it was to teach them how to build and fix things to giving advice and instilling the importance of family and doing what is right. After retiring from McGavin’s he tried to slow down and take it easy. Anyone who knew Len, knows that was not possible. At 84 years old he was still going fast and always cracking a joke with a little smirk on his face. You would not dare to mow the lawn at the family cabin as that was his job! If he wasn’t out finding projects for his grandsons to work on, he was spending time with
his beautiful wife.
Len was a true role model who we will always look up to. His superhero name is “DAD”.
Dad, you are now at peace and together with Barb, we know you are still guiding and watching over your family.
Cremation has taken place and a drop in gathering to remember Len will be held on Sunday September 17, 2023 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Anyone wishing to attend please reach out to the family for details.

Len was an amazing human being! He and Doreen were always available to lend a helping hand to others or provide support and a listening ear.
Len was so positive, helpful and smiley. He always had a joke for me or an Oilers comment for my husband. He was a kind, and genuine friend/neighbor at the condo where he lived. Len had such a huge heart!
Your sudden loss and departure is heartbreaking, but know that you have left a beautiful legacy.
We will miss you!
Love,
Margaret, Rocco and Elizabeth

To the Pelletier Family,
Our condolences go out to you during this difficult time. We’ve been neighbours with Len & Doreen for 47+ years; down the street in our houses in the beginning, and most recently down the hall in our condo. Len and his joyous personality will be missed by us and many others.
