It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Judith (Judy) Margaret Field in her home on April 11, 2023 at the age of 78. Judy is survived by her brother Michael Field, sister in law Betty Field, nieces Tracey Guselle and Sherry McLean and their families, all of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Judy was born, raised and died in Edmonton, although throughout her life time she lived in Scotland, Singapore, Australia and Indonesia. She was a true Edmonton Oilers and Elks fan her entire life and she took pride in living in the City of Champions. Judy loved animals especially her beloved dog Snoopy and in her later years, her cats, Marmie and Callie. Judy worked at the WhiteOaks Medical Clinic prior to retirement. She loved curling, country music, boating and was known to enjoy a few cocktails around the fire at Sundance Beach/Pigeon Lake on weekends. Judy was predeceased by her parents Clarence (David) and Mary Field as well as her brother, Marshall Field. Judy’s family would like to thank cousin Ann Morrison and her husband Rick Morrison for their years of support and assistance. If you would like to make a donation, please consider donating to the Alberta SPCA. Judy would be thankful and honored to be helping animals in need.
There is No Light without a Dawning by Helen Steiner Rice
No winter without a spring
And beyond the dark horizon
Our hearts will once more sing….
For those who leave us for a while
Have only gone away
Out of a restless, care worn world
Into a brighter day.
Rest in peace Judy.
