With deepest sorrow, that we announce the passing away of Jeffery Scott Rondeau, age 44, on October 28, 2022. He was a son, brother, father, uncle, family member, friend who will be lovingly remembered. Previously deceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents, we know he will find his way to his Grampie’s shop, his Nannie’s knee, his Pepere’s boat and into the loving arms of his Memere.
Born in Gander, Newfoundland, he was our goofy Newfie. As part of an Air Force family, Jeff spent his childhood travelling across Canada. He loved to spend time camping, playing hockey, playing baseball, and listening to and play music on his guitar.
For many years, he was proud to serve as a Medical Assistance (Med A) in the Royal Canadian Army, which included a peace support mission with the 3rd Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (3 PPCLI) to Bosnia in 2001. His strength was in serving others in their time of need. His quick thinking and healing touch soothed many hurts along the way.
Sadly, he himself was immune to this healing touch, fighting a long battle with addiction. We are proud to say he never gave up trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel.
We love you so much son. You lifted our hearts in ways we can never describe and now you are free. Rest in Peace.

I was very sad to hear of Jeff’s passing, I spent alot of time with him in the last few years he was alive. What I remember most of him was his quick wit and sarcasm. Him and I had many laughs and shared some good times. He was also a very good cook and neverinded young with dishes too.
I think of him often since I heard of his passing and I hope he finds peace and solace.
Thank you for your service and my deepest condolences to his family and family.
