Our beloved matriarch, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away as a
result of doing what she loved – working in her garden. Kay was a lover of nature and an
avid gardener whose self-confidence, work ethic, and resilience inspired her children,
grandchildren and all of their spouses.
Kay was predeceased by her husband Frank (1978) and is survived by her three children:
Ken (Meredith), Cathy (Carmen), and Jane (Jim); her seven grandchildren: Alix,
Matthew, Diego, Landon, Elizabeth, David, and Michael; her one great-grandchild:
Casey; and her many siblings, nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Kay’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In
lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
The family wishes to send special thanks to her neighbours who were always willing to
lend a hand around the acreage and who were there at Kay’s times of need.

Brenda & Don says
Our thoughts go out to all the family. We have many great memories. Kay gave us some perrenials a few years back – Delphiniums, Maltese Crosses (she called them “multi-crosses), Columbine etc. We love you! You stayed in your own home and we all want to go in our gardens when our times come that we love. May you all be at peace. She will be remembered forever. Don Harke & Brenda Millan # 496 Baileys
