Jeremy was born on August 6, 1976. A bicentennial baby in the USA.
As a child, Jeremy was always smiling. His favorite animals were dogs, except for the few years he raised ducks. He was always looking out for his younger brother and sister. That is, until he bravely coerced his brother into sliding down a tremendously high hill on a piece of tin!
Our favorite family outings were riding the waves in Southern Cali at the Pacific Ocean.
As a teenager, Jeremy taught himself C++ computer programing. He was also a skilled craftsman at woodworking. After high school, he went on to do business applications for the U.S. Navy as a public employee. Highly independent, Jeremy moved to Canada in 1996, and became a Canadian citizen. He enjoyed the theatre, music, and friends.
His passing leaves behind his mother, Sandra Johnston; his brother, Scott; his sister, Sarah; and their spouses and children.
We will miss his humor, his sparkling brown eyes, and his sense of concern for others.

I met Guy when he moved to the same new condo building that I did. He became my friend, so smart and quick witted. He and I both loved Star Trek and we would watch episodes together. He had two kitties back then, Scush and Frumples. I am shocked to see this notice of his death, I had not heard from him in many months. My sincere condolences to his family and friends in all places, I wish I could have seen him again.

Jeremy (As he went by during his last chapter),
Was one of the most incredible, strongest human’s I’ve ever encountered. The love he provided for Tuck/Torque blew my mind.
His up-bringing and experiences during his path helped him focus on making good choices.
While our life together was much too short I couldn’t be more thankful for meeting him.
We had a beautiful house in the middle of a not so great place. But our backyard was magical. He built Torq a ramp into the backyard. Jeremy snow blowed the whole street then did a ‘run’ for Torq in the yard cause his hips were going.
This ‘Guy’ will never be forgotten. I miss him.
