Douglas John Primeau passed away on December 10th, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his children, Tara, Yvonne, and Richard; grandchildren, Owen, Oliver, and Madalyn; sister. Terese; brothers, Kevin and Patrick; and mother, Caroline.
Doug’s legacy is one of love and warmth, especially in the cherished memories he created with his grandchildren. His eyes radiated joy as he shared stories, leaving an enduring impact on family and friends. A nature enthusiast, Doug’s passion for the outdoors was contagious, instilling an appreciation for the beauty of the earth in those around him.
Beyond his love for nature, Douglas had a deep interest in computers and science, reflecting his boundless curiosity. An intimate service with close family will be held to celebrate his remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Christmas Bureau, honoring Doug’s spirit of generosity during the holiday season. As we bid farewell to a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, may Doug rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty he so dearly loved in life.

Ray and Sharon Moffat says
Our condolences to Yvonne, Jamie, Oliver and Owen (Kinder and Jed) and Doug’s family.
We are sincerely sorry for your loss.
We have been fortunate to witness the love and commitment back and forth for many many years. We were also lucky to be able to spend vacations to Cuba, Panama and occasions with Doug as well being his co-grandparenters.
The love and support The Moffats gave him on a daily basis was a treasure for Doug and will remain such memories for them left behind. He taught his grandboys so much about technology, nature and science that they will be able to use this forever and be forever grateful for. Yvonne and the boys being a daily supporter was so appreciated by Doug and he told us many times of his appreciation.
It will be very difficult for us to watch the loss for everyone and heartbreaking for our grandchildren go through a terrible loss at such a young age.
Rest in Peace Doug. Ray and Sharon Moffat
