Doug was a very kind & gentle person, in the over 25 years I have known him I never heard him say an unkind word about another person. He certainly enjoyed the Oilers & had season tickets for quite a while & over covid had a great tradition of how to enjoy the games . I always enjoyed our visits and reminiscence of times gone by and family.
My condolences to the families at this time, he will be missed.

My heartfelt condolences to you.
I worked with Doug at ERC over the years as well as knowing him on a personal basis. He was a fun loving, kind and considerate soul and will be missed by the many he touched over the years. Rest peacefully Doug. Will see you on the other side.

Doug, was hired part time coverage for a co-worker on maternity leave, at ERC. Doug was so adored, his term was lengthen, over and over. Few, will remember how many last days he was subject to. Then one day, he became a permanent fixture! For a few, of us… Doug was a part of us; growing up, hanging out, moving in, moving on, moving out, getting hitched, getting unhitched, having kids, getting promotions….. Not, until now, this week. Did I, ( nor the rest of us, even after his stroke) know… that his last day….would also be a part of our lives. We are all devastated, heartbroken….
