It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Allen Fox, 80, of Devon, Alberta.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Madeline Fox; children, Mark (Cindy) Fox, Roxanne Mackintosh, Valerie Fox and Tamara Fox; grandchildren, Kayla Plamondon, Cameron Mackintosh, Aaron (Jocelyn) Mackintosh, Christian Fox, Erica Mackintosh, Reegan (Kaysha) Fox and Bryan Fox; sister, Clara, brother, Herb; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Don’s sense of humour and mischievousness made him larger than life. He was a great friend and he loved to tease and make people laugh. Born in LaFleche, Saskatchewan, Don was the youngest of 5. He grew up with a glint in his eye that spoke to his sense of fun. After a brief stint in the Air Force, Don returned to Saskatchewan and met the love of his life. He and Madeline spent their lives in Alberta – first in Ft. McMurray where they raised their kids, then Devon where they owned a small business and became a huge part of this small town. Don LOVED his Harley. He met his tribe during his many rides and made lasting friendships with the people he rode with.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital and the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their incredible care, and for their patience with us and our never-ending questions.
