Born in Vernon BC March 6, 1987
Died in Edmonton AB March 26, 2022
Born to Thomas James Keane (Carol) and Debra Lynn Keane; remembered by sister, Amy Walt (Chris); nephews, Giovanni (23) and Markus(18); sister, Sarah Granewall (Curt); and nieces, Baylee (13) and Zoe (11).
Adam was predeceased by his dad in October 2021 and survived by his mom who 12 short days after Adams death succumbed to her fight with cancer joining her sweet son. Confirming what his two sisters suspected all along, Adam was her favourite. How could he not be, he was light and love. He was kind and generous. Adam would give the shirt off his back, unless of course, that shirt was his Green Bay Packer jersey honouring his Wisconsin roots. He was someone you could always count on, he would fix your car, shovel your snow, help you move, spoil your kids on their birthday, hold open a door for a stranger; you didn’t have to ask Adam for help he would always offer it.
Adam was a good man; a devoted son, a loving brother, a doting uncle and the best friend many were lucky to have.
Adam had many ‘families’ over the years, each were as important as the next.
Adam’s Victoria family as a boy and young man was filled with friends who were like family and over the years time and distance did not change how much he cared for them and appreciated their friendships.
Adam’s Edmonton family as an adult gave him the confidence and encouragement to venture out and build a new life. He was welcomed into a circle friends that he cared for dearly.
Adam was a hard working welder by trade and took pride in his work and developed many significant friendships through his years at Pillar Fabricators in Edmonton.
Adam’s senseless death is a huge loss for all who knew him and loved him. Adam would want everyone to be kind to each other, love each other and let those around you know what they mean to you. Honour Adam by opening a door for someone, pass on a kind word to someone, be there for the ones you love and lend a hand to strangers who need one. Adam always did. Rest In Peace sweet Ads.

I am at a profound loss of words and so very sad at the passing of Adam and his Mom Deb. Adam played softball and football with my boys and went to school with them for many years. Deb was a friend with a good heart and a good mother to her children. Heaven just got another couple of angels. May you find some peace and comfort in this time of great sorrow and loss.
