It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Frederick ‘Robert’ Dillman, who passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 27, 2024, at the University of Alberta Hospital.
Those who knew Robert loved his fearless passion for life, heart of gold, witty sense of humor and infectious smile. He loved having fun, spending time with family & friends, camping and helping out at the barn. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, old vintage cars and being on the water whenever he could. Patches (cat) and Echo (horse) held a special place in his heart. Don’t worry Robert we will make sure Echo still gets her carrots and Kyra is going to finish the mustang you two started together. His absolute pride & joy was his family: son, Brandon; daughter, Kyra; and his soulmate and high school sweetheart, Tammy. Robert lived life to the fullest never letting any opportunity slip through his fingers. His positive attitude and passion for life & travel will be dearly missed by all.
Robert was born on September 1, 1971, in Halifax, NS and was the oldest son of proud parents, Fred and Peggy Dillman. He is survived by brothers, Clayton and Blair; and sister, Cindy (Mike).
Cremation has taken place under the care of Capital City Crematorium, Edmonton, AB.
A small reception will be held from 7-9 at the barn on Friday August 2, 2024.
Address: 269 Rodeo Drive, Fort McMurray, AB.
Another service will also be held at his hometown in Nova Scotia at a later date.
Tributes, memories and words of comfort can be shared with the family at www.capitalcitycremation.ca
