It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to Brian Lariviere. Brian was born in Peace River Alberta May 24, 1964 and he passed away suddenly on July 19th 2020 at the age of 56 years.
Brian leaves behind his loving wife Tammy; his daughters Peyton and Hunter; and step children Tessa (Justin) and Tristan (Crysten). He was predeceased by his father Lawrence in 2014 and is survived by his mother Florence; and his siblings Wady(Angela), Wayne, Keith, Joanne(Wes) and Cookie. Sadly he had such a short time spent with his two newest loves, his grandsons Nova Rondeau and Asher Lariviere.
Brian was a compassionate soul with a huge heart. Once you got past his ‘gruff’ exterior (Which we called his resting bitch face) you had the kindest, funniest, most caring friend. Even if his jokes were a little lame, it helped he had the most infectious ‘giggle’ that you couldn’t help but laugh along with him.
Brian had a carefree zest for life and he shared this with his love, Tammy. They enjoyed date night once a month and their many vacations. Though it did not matter where they were or what they were doing as long as they were together they always had the best of times. Brian also enjoyed the simpler things in life which was time spent at home with Tammy and his grandbabies. To Nova he was best known as ‘grampa-the bringer of cookies’ and we will make sure Asher gets his share of cookies and grampa stories!
An amazing beautiful life came to a sudden end,
He died as he lived, everyone’s friend
He was always thoughtful, loving and kind
So many loved ones he left behind.
He left us suddenly, his thoughts unknown
Though he left us memories we are proud to own,
Remember him, as he has gone to his final place of rest
For in our world he was one of the best.
Brian’s celebration of life is to be held at the Rolla Hall in Rolla, BC on August 22, 2020 at 4pm.
Cremation has taken place at Capital City Cremation in Edmonton.
