Art passed away peacefully at home with family by his side . He leaves his loving wife Barb of 64 1/2 years; daughter Sherry (Jack); and son Kevin (Tracey); 7 grandchildren and spouses, Lee (Lesley), Kristy (Trevor), Chad (Angela), Chantal (Christy), Jeannine (Geoff), Caitlin, and Wayne; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Margaret (Bud); brother Allan & Heather; and many nieces and nephews. He joins his mom Margaret; dad Leo; brothers Red, Jack, Butch, and Gary; sisters Joan and Verla; daughter Marilynn; and son Murray.
Art has touched many lives in his lifetime and cherished every moment. The family would like to send a very heartfelt thank you to the Onoway home-care team for their compassionate care. Celebration of life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to STARS.
Cremation has taken place at Capital City Cremation in Edmonton.

Barb and family , sending you our deepest condolences and our sincerest thoughts and prayers as we say goodbye to a real sincere friend ” Up Town Brown ” a very honest and humble man that was very well respected through out the community . There are times that he will be missed , and there will be tougher times that we will miss him and the wisdom he left us with , that will never leave us . Society has lost a truly great man in who I will refer to as Sir Arthur. Will miss his physical presence at Ricki’s on Wednesday’s for our lunch but never his memory. I will miss his humming, laughter and support with have my arguments with his sister Margaret those were special. Our thoughts are with Barb, Kevin and Sherry and the rest of the entire family. He will be dearly missed.
